militarism- countries preparing for war lead to war .
Alliances-countries becoming "friends" with other nations in preperation for war .
Imperialism-conquering nations did not exactly sit well with those countries being colonized.
Nationalism- national pride in your country can fuel people's biest opinion in that their country is the best and everyone else sucked.
